Hello
Welcome to my website! Thank you for stopping by, here’s a little bit about me:
I’m 28 years old and live in London, I began my modelling journey in 2013 after applying to be the face of a Makeup School. Whilst I didn’t win, I was invited to do a student portfolio shoot. This was my first taste of what being on set and working with a creative team was like! I loved it. You can see the images from my first shoot here, I went on to post these images on Twitter and an independent photographer reached out to work with me. From there I learned of networking sites where you could collaborate with other creatives to grow your portfolio and also find paid modelling jobs as you gained more experience. It’s now been over 10 years and I have been fortunate to have modelled for brands such as ‘NHS’, ‘Moonpig’, ‘TikTok’, and ‘Chuwi Technology’, as well as modelling for book covers ‘The Blazing Star’ & ‘The Falling Star’ by Imani Josey, and ‘Lies We Tell Ourselves’ by Robin Talley. I’ve been published in magazines ‘Elegant’, ‘Like a Lion’, ‘Moevir Paris’, ‘GMARO’, and ‘Sarze’.
I have professional experience as a dancer and actress. I am currently training at ‘Actors Cafe’ to get my spotlight accreditation and further pursue an acting career. Brands I have worked with as a supporting and featured artist include ‘BBC’, ‘Amazon’ & ‘ITV’. I have worked as a background dancer for Bollywood film projects and with numerous commercial music artists.
One of my other passions is writing, in 2017 I graduated from Portsmouth University with a degree in Journalism and Media. I had big dreams of being a glamorous reporter, like Devils Wears Prada. Alas, that dream hasn’t been realised (yet) and I found myself in administration - which turned out to be a really rewarding experience. I started on the corporate receptionist desk, and got poached by an interior design company to be their Office Manager and Personal Assistant. After working there for almost 2 years, I found myself back in corporate reception following redundancy, then post-pandemic landing a job at a boutique spirits retailer and investment company as an Administration and Sales Assistant, progressing to Head of Administration which is where I currently work. And yes my work here has made me quite the whisky connoisseur which I love!
During the time I was made redundant and faced unemployment I got put on the NEA scheme, a government backed programme to help turn those struggling to find work into entrepreneurs. Armed with my modelling experience and dreams of content creation, my business plan was approved and I commenced a 1 year journey to become gainfully self-employed, which I achieved in August 2021. In this time my idea expanded to the launch of ‘Model Photography Events’, a creative community where I organise group fashion photoshoots and other events for models, photographers, and creatives. Unfortunately, after reaching my first month of self-employment that looked promising it all got too overwhelming and I had to put everything on pause. I ended up in hospitality jobs, some gruelling with heavy lifting and waking up at 5am to scrape out peoples breakfast plates like a human robot! I went back to the drawing board of rebuilding my life, and going back to education to gain my Business Administration and Start Up Success Qualifications which was achieved in 2023.
I’m now enjoying my full time role as Head of Admin, while in the evenings and weekends pursuing my modelling career, training in acting and dance, managing my events business, and launching my resin art business! Who says you can’t do it all ;)
